1. Olay Coconut Body Wash- I like the smell of this product, but it not something that keeps me moisturized and smelling good all day. I am a huge Olay fan, and I am kind of getting over the phase. Their products are good, but not good enough to last me through the day. They are usually more expensive than most products too so be careful what you buy of Olay. Not all of it, is worth the extra penny. I purchased this at Wal-Mart for $3.00.
2. Olay Face Moisturizer - This has been my favorite moisturizer for years! I haven't tried any other moisturizer because this one always gets the job done. I have extremely dry skin and any time I use this right after I get out the shower it moisturizes me perfectly. It goes on smoothly and you do not need an excessive amount for your whole face. One bottle of this usually lasts me about 1-3 months depending on what season we are in. I also like that it has SPF protection in it as well. I'm already tan and I don't want to get too crispy so this is perfect for my face. I don't mind paying around $7.00 for this item because it has been consistent over the years. You can get this at Wal-Mart, Target, or any drug store.
3.Venus & Olay Razor - OH MY GOD. THIS PRODUCT! This is something I just recently discovered while poking around the razor aisle and am so excited to share with you. This product is the reason I even decided to make this post. I was standing in the aisle so long because I decided I was going to spend a little more money on a razor because every single one I buy is super cheap and has not been giving me a clean shave. The first time I used it, I was like okay this i just two bars of soap on a razor blade this is stupid, but once I started using it. I understood. After the shave, everything was so soft and smooth. Razor bumps.. anywhere and I mean anywhere completely gone! This is pricy item, and it is brand new because Venus and Olay did a collaboration. Just for the razor and one blade it was around $13.00. To buy more razors, it's around $16.00.
4. Burt's Bees Sugar Scrub (Cranberry & Pomegranate) - Okay, I've used this product only one time since I bought it a few days ago and I must say I am in love. I was creeping through some beauty blogs the other day and found a product that was considered a moisturizer in the shower and you just applied it after your regular body wash and couldn't find it anywhere so I decided to try this instead. This is an all natural product which I am not so big on using usually (hah, using usually - what a play on words) because everything is usually overpriced since it all natural and I'm super cheap when it comes to things. As of lately, I've been okay with trying out new products that are a bit more expensive. I applied this to what I consider "rough" patches of skin on my body. The backs of my arms, my sides on my stomach, etc, and the result was amazing. I didn't need to lotion after I got out the shower, but of course I did anyway because I have this weird obsession with being soft. Nonetheless, I was kinda weirded out by the texture while applying it in the shower because it literally felt like I was putting sugar on my skin. Whatever though, because this product is bomb. If you want to soften your skin, and don't mind spending the extra money. This is the thing to try out! This product cost me around $15.00.
Hi again! As you can see I recently helped with a fashion show, and it was such a blast. I've only worked one other fashion show besides this one and they both were completely different. This one wasn't as intense as the first one, so it seemed slower paced even though it wasn't. This fashion show was basically a fundraiser to help raise money. I didn't get to ask anyone what it was for, but people kept describing it as a benefit. I'll have to get back to you on that. Basically, I was backstage helping models get dressed. The changes were quick because this fashion show was smaller, so that part was a bit more dramatic. Other than that, it was pretty easy and fun. I met a few people who were interested in blogging so I definitely started following them on their social media websites. I am such a nerd when it comes to that.. blogging is becoming my life & I love it. I hope y'all had a great day. Thanks for letting me share.
I'm not going to go over every song on the track list because that could be tedious or way too intense. So, I'm just gonna say a few things about my favorite songs because they really stood or I could relate to them the most. I've been a Drake fan for what I would call a long time.. He always surprises me with each album because it's his style, but different. The lyrics always have some type of hidden meaning behind it. It has to be mind boggling to actually listen to it and be a close friend of him... because some things may be about you. It's just trippy all in all. This album is one that I definitely have been playing on repeat and it was worth the wait as usual.
1.Tuscan Leather 2.Furthest Thing 3.Started From The Bottom 4.Wu-Tang Forever 5.Own It - The lyrics in these are so bomb, especially for girls. He's basically saying like go own it. Be proud that you're with me type of vibe. I'm wanting to know what he's referring to when he says "Guess who's it is?". Like is he referring to his you know what, or what? Either way there is something he is referring to reassure someone they have ownership over something. That sentence was so confusing, but I hope you can understand what I mean. I don't necessarily know if he is really meaning these things or trying to come across a certain way, but that's what I take when I hear the song. I'm definitely gonna make this one my ringtone! 6.Worst Behavior 7.From Time- I was so surprised when I heard female vocals. I don't know why.. but I love her voice in this. The lyrics stay true to what he is trying to project. It's something different.. 8.Hold On We're Going Home 9.Connect 10.The Language - This song - he always kind of has a song where he disses haters in. This one is it. I like the music a lot in this one. It's a good melody to sing along to. 11.305 To My City - LOOOOOVE THIS SONG. It hits close to home because it seems like he's talking about a girl he really appreciates for working hard. She's getting some recognition for making money and not just using him. I would seriously hate being rich or a celebrity for that reason. Never knowing people's true intentions in my life now is a bother. Idunno. 12.Too Much 13.Pound Cake / Paris Morton Music 2
14.Come Thru[Deluxe Edition Bonus Track] - You ever have one of those relationships that will never really be over, or in other words it's over but you still think about it from time to time? This is that song. He nailed it. That's all I have to say on that one.
This was an unplanned outfit of the day! I'm sorry if the quality of the images is terrible because of poor weather. I'm not a huge fan of my camera quality either. Maybe one day I will have a really nice one, that has interchangeable lenses, but until then... this is what I can give. I didn't have a cute umbrella to go with this outfit, so I am going to be shopping for a new umbrella. I've always thought umbrellas were a great accessory to add with any outfit rain or sunshine. They can help protect from the sun and the rain. They come in all different shapes, patterns, colors, and sizes so the possibilities are endless when it comes to accessorizing. This outfit was super comfortable even though I felt like a boy because of the color scheme. Does rain make you feel as sleepy as it makes me? Rainy days are for cuddling, having tea, and watching movies! What are some good movies you've been watching?
The last time I posted, I basically promised that I was going to be consistent with my blog and that didn't really happen... What can I say, I'm a liar? Haha no, I'm not a liar I just lost my battery charger for my camera and couldn't find it for quite sometime, and not to mention I've begun strongly disliking my closet. The good news, I found it, the bad news, there really isn't any bad news. Anyway, let's cut to the chase, if you have been creeping my blog, but are not subscribed to it, be ashamed of yourself! Seriously click join this site on the sidebar to the right and follow my blog so you guys can know when I have a new post. It would make a very happy camper. Moving on to a good excuses as to why I haven't been posting.. Listen up, because I promise, it's a good one. Recently, I started a new blogging group/organization at my college! I've kind of been buried underneath it all and hiding under a rock, but this starfish is coming out right now. I basically will be teaching various blogging platforms and different things like how to network, how to get paid for blogging, and etc for the group. I'm so excited that I am actually doing something I want to do! Something that I am not looking forward to doing is, figuring out why my style has gone down the drain! Everyday I go to my closet, and I just hate all of my clothes. I am overwearing majority of the things in my closet and I feel like they don't represent who I am as a person anymore. So, I'm gonna restart. Yep, that's right I'm throwing things out and moving on. I would like to portray my young and sassy attitude a bit more. The floral and feminine is always nice, but I'm not always a nice person. Haha. I would like to have a consecutive and consistent style. I don't want to be something one day, and the next day something else. I want to represent myself and not anything else. Get ready to watch my style and blog transition! Stay tuned for what I have in store for you, there might be glitter and faux fur in the future. *Twilight Zone music* Until then, I'll see y'all next time!
If you have a blog on Blogger, I just discovered something really cool that I want to share. I was looking for where to contact Blogger because I need to ask a question, but came across this and I absolutely love it. I feel like with Blogger it's really hard to stay in tune with the newer things they come out with. It's almost like you have to dig to find out stuff about the website your using, unless my email notifications are just turned off and I don't know it, but anyway here's what I want to share! Blogs of Note. This is a great way to network with blogs who are similar to your own or even just to open your eyes to new types of blogs. I am in love with it and will continue to look at it when I have free time. Go this blog http://blogsofnote.blogspot.com/, and it basically just features really cool blogs. Simple as that. I'm gonna start following a million blogs because of it and hopefully it will help me network! Well that's all for now. Too-duh-loo. :*
This was really interesting. I would definitely like to have this because it seems so simple! Technology never ceases to amaze me. This type of phone is something everyone could have if we are preparing for an end. I'm not one of those people who are super into saving the world and into conserving resources. That's horrible for me to admit, I know, but honestly that's never on my mind. This phone is kind of cool simply because you can literally customize it however you want! I am in love with that. I'd want cool cases and stuff for it of course, but that seems pretty easy. Would you guys want one of these?
I definitely did not take as many photos as I wanted to during this Tour. I was constantly distracted by the music and the atmosphere. At one point I got really weak and fainted. Not a really good time because I skinned my knees. However, once I ate I felt a bit better. Some of my favorite bands I saw live were Bring Me the Horizon, Hands Like Houses, Crossfaith, Chiodos, Motion City Soundtrack, Never Shout Never (wasn't planning on seeing him but did anyway), Bless The Fall, and so many more. I go to Warped Tour each year and this year it was just different and not as good as it used to be. I feel like things have gotten less personal and it's just not as fun. However it was still fun, but I don't know if I'll go again next year. Hope you guys had a good summer. I'm so ready for fall/winter!
